Saint Germain
Saint Germain is Paris' boho-chic district, famous for its café culture. Situated on the left bank of the Seine, Saint Germain maintains intellects' cafés from last century, for example Les Deux Magots, once frequented by Hemingway, Sartre and Picasso. It is full of Parisian charm, explore an array of art galleries, boutiques, modern cuisine, cafes, and busy night spots and bars when the sun goes down.
For a quieter atmosphere in Paris the Luxembourg palace and gardens are also located in this district. Built for Marie de Medicis in the early 17th Century, the ‘Jardin du Luxemberg’ is a peaceful sprawling beauty after a busy day.
