Nicknamed Quartier Latin or the Latin Quarter after its originally Latin-speaking student population at Sorbonne University, this area has a small-town feel and a boho style and is situated on the left bank of the Seine. A vibrant mix of students, artists and young professionals dominate the district and the trendy Boulevard Saint Germain. The 5ème is named for its necropolis, Panthéon, resting place to Paris celebrities such as Voltaire, Rousseau, Hugo and Zola. This district is also home to its Natural History Museum. Along Quai de Montebello are stalls with old prints and knick-knacks. Visit Rue Mouffetard for art shops or take in some jazz at one of the hang-outs on Rue Galande.

Typical Cozy and Charming Parisian Ambiance

The apartment is located on the fourth floor of a charming Parisian building with elevator. The apartment has two bedrooms, both with queen beds that can be split as well as two bathrooms (one en suite) and two toilets. There is AC in the living room. There is a spacious and bright living-room with a sofa and two armchairs and dining area with a table and chairs. There is a fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, coffee maker, Nespresso, toaster, iron and all utensils necessary for cooking and eating. There is also a washer and dryer in the apartment.
The apartment is equipped with a flat screen TV with cable and DVD players. You can make international calls on land lines and there is a high-speed Internet connection (WIFI) with a computer or tablet provided.

An Exceptional Neighborhood

Situated in the Latin Quarter, one of the oldest and liveliest neighborhoods of Paris. Rue Mouffetard is a short walk away and is one of the oldest and pittoresque streets of Paris. There has been a road here since the Roman occupation 2000 years ago. It also has a beautiful street market. It has a medieval character and has greatly inspired Victor Hugo to write Les Misérables. Ernest Hemingway also lived in the neighborhood. You will find a great number of cafés and grocers in this neighborhood and you are just minutes away from the best sights of Paris. You are also a short walk from the wonderful Luxembourg Gardens as well as the Jardin des Plantes and the Pantheon.

We will be at hand to meet and settle you into the apartment, answer questions and help out in any way we can. We can make restaurant, theater and activity reservations and recommendations. As we live in Paris we will happily share our knowledge, insight and experience with our guests.

Fantastic location on the Canal St Martin and very handy to the Metro. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable. Although it was a little chilly for the time of year the apartment was always warm. There are a couple of local supermarkets but would recommend trying the local specialty food shops (butcher, cheese shop etc). The Turkish restaurant around the corner was excellent, L'Arlequin was also good for filling meal. Overall the apartment met our expectations and provided good value. This was our fifth stay in Paris (and third using an apartment as a base).

The apartment was perfect for our needs - the split level gave each couple their own space and privacy. The location was close to the centre of Paris and an easy walk to most of the major sites. As it was located in a business district there were no tourists in the area and so it was quiet during the day. The living areas were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen well equipped.

The Luxembourg apartment is well located with great excess to the gardens,metro and the stops/restaurants of St Germain and Montparnasse. It is quite small but all the appliances etc are very good. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and involves a very tight circular staircase. This would be very difficult for people with heavy luggage and would be not recommnded for older people.

A beautiful apartment. It was as pictured, everything was clean and in working order. The beds were comfortable, the little kitchen was excellent and the bathroom was spacious and pristine. I was travelling with children and used the washing machine and dryer - all in perfect working order. After trawling the internet for suitable accommodation, I finally chose this one bedroom apartment as it looked clean, bright and spacious. Travelling alone, I was also very conscious of the level of security of the apartment as I wanted to enjoy my space and not be afraid to be alone. I could not have picked a better property. Elevated and with two security doors to go through before you get to your front door, the apartment was clean and was exactly as the photos portrayed in the advertisement. (There is also a microwave oven in the kitchen). The block is quiet, and the location is brilliant - with a supermarket three minutes walk away, and the Metro two minutes away. I also utilised the shuttle service from and to the airport that French Experience offer - it was economical and easy to organise. All in all, a very good french experience.

La Fayette appartment was a great introduction to Paris and gives a good sense of the Paris lifestyle. it is excellently situated, being close to the metro and has cafes, patiseries and supermarkets conveniently nearby. Everyone that we met, the cafe owners, people at the patisery and their customers were friendly and helpful. The appartment ws comfortable and was a good base from which to explore Paris and surrounds. Wifi worked well to keep you in touch with those back home.

The location was perfect being close to the subway, shopping and the river with a great shop right next door selling coffee, lunch, salads and great evening meals you can heat in a microwave, very convenient! It is only a short walk to the major shopping area of Paris where there is also a supermarket to stock the apartment. My sister and I stayed at Bourg Tibourg. It was a fantastic experience .The location ideal and easy to reach from CDG on the train. We were particularly impressed with the ease of dealing with your company and the apartment was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a Paris experience in a traditional building and we got it. The size was ideal. We loved the fluffy white towels, good plumbing, few bits and provisions in the pantry, the travel tips by previous guests....just everything. Took loads of photos sitting on the little balcony. A couple of suggestions- the entry directions were very clear but a little note about the lock on the apartment door and how to deal with it would have helped. Also the washing machine could be supplied with a couple of the pods of detergent that needs to be used as we were reluctant to buy a whole box. When we only needed to use it once. I have been recommending the apartment and your service to friends and family. It was excellent  and we'd love to use it again and the same apartment. :-)

Having visited Paris previously and stayed in the Marais district, this apartment certainly met our expectations and was both clean, very comfortable and close to the metro. The area was very quiet and we felt very safe. The local agent was excellent and very helpful. We had a great stay. Also we booked a car through The French Experience to take us to the airport, which was on time, had an excellent driver, and was hassle free and got us to the airport in plenty of time. A good end to what was a great month in France.

The team at The French Experience answered all our queries promptly and accurately prior to our trip and set our minds at ease. On arrival in Paris the greeter was punctual, very friendly, helpful and informative and even returned later that afternoon to replace a blown light bulb. The apartment was small but spotlessly clean, functional and utterly charming. The beds were blissfully comfortable. The location was central and convenient but in a quiet side street in the 3rd Arrondisement allowed us to pretend to be locals for a few nights. Highly recommended!

Bourg Tibourg is in an excellent location with easy access to food shops, the metro, many Paris attractions. We enjoyed the view from the 6th floor balcony and the facilities provided in the apartment were quite adequate allowing us to do some washing and prepare our own meals. The meet & greet service was very good. The lift in the smallest I've ever been in, but we managed to get our luggage up and back down in three trips.

We stayed at Montorgueil 2 and the location of the apartment was wonderful. A local area in vibrant street with fabulous local produce and endless cafes and restaurants. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We felt very safe. Great range of local retail shopping with another shopping complex currently under construction in the area. The Sentier underground station was 2 min away. We found the rail system very easy to use, lots of help at the station with maps to follow, fast reliable and very economical. You can be totally independent. There is good security to the building complex and apartment. It is a very quiet place to stay amongst local families (be sure to reciprocate!). First impression of exterior was not the best but that became unimportant for the great area. The apartment was comfortable and clean. There was ample space and storage. It is on the third floor without a lift. We found that ok but not suitable for some. The heating is excellent and also hot water service.The kitchen is limited. We had a happy week here. We would return to this area without hesitation.

Our apartment in Paris was fabulous, we lived like Parisians! Francois was there when our shuttle bus arrived and showed us how to get in etc which was very helpful. It took a few days to get used to the key in the door! The lift is tiny but all you need, better than most Paris apartments I saw with no lift, a relief after a big day walking. Our first morning we saw a fabulous market being set up right below our balcony! We came back with an amazing spread of delicious berries, salmon and French cheese! There are quite a few supermarkets within a couple of blocks walk so we really saved money by eating in. The apartment is right between 2 Metros so it was so easy to get around the many, many sights. Also, walking around our local area we found some of the best shops in Paris. The apartment is so close to Il de la Citi and Notre Dame it was amazing. The apartment had everything you need for cooking, washing etc and although small was perfect for my daughter and I for 12 days. It also has all the Paris guides, including walking cards, so you don't need to pack them, leaving more room for shopping! The free wifi and home calls were great, esp for my 17 year old daughter, putting up her beautiful photos onto Instagram. Paris is amazing, we were flat out every day and still didn't do all the sights! We would highly recommend Bourg Tiborg and French Experience for an amazing holiday!

The apartment on rue Monsieur le Prince is perfectly located for our needs, quiet and comfortable and more than adequate for two people to stay for a very busy week. Two bonuses: a lovely courtyard flower garden and magnificent views out the fifth floor window to the Pompidou, the Tour St Jacques and les toits de Paris. :))

We had the French experience arrange a transfer from the airport and it was so easy. The driver was at the gate and was able to take us to the apartment. All was perfect. Only slight complaint when we moved from Ille St.Louis apartment across to our second apartment 11th literlly 10 minutes walk away we were sent a "taxi" (huge" to transport the two us and our 2 susitcases and charged 40 euros. If we had known would have used son-in-laws Uber account of just called a normal taxi- an 8 euro trip!! Apart from that all lovely-would use you again and have recommended you often.

Good apartment, great site, would have it again. Only 2 problems- elevator only from 1st floor upwards; and the toilet is really a partition off from the sitting room, which was a bit of a problem when we had weekend guests. When the heating failed, it was fixed under warranty in 3 days; no problem.

The apartment was exactly as you saw in the pitchers on the web site , the moment you walked into the apartment it felt as if you were at home. The central location of the apartment was also great as you could walk to the metro station line 1 less then a ten minute walk, this line linked up to most other metro lines so getting around Paris was quite easy or the RER trains if you wished to travel further out into the French country. The Buses also are a great way to get around and to see parts of Paris you would not see if you took the train , there are three Bus stops very close by number 22 bus takes you the Opera area , the bus number 30 takes you to Montmartre area, and bus number 82 takes you to Eiffel Tower the buses run around every 8 minutes so if you miss one it is not long to wait. Speaking of the Eiffel Tower the view is amazing from the lounge it is a lot closer then the pitcher shows on the site, and the light show at night is also amazing as the tower lights up on the hour for 5 minutes a nice place to sit back and have some cheese and a glass of Champaign. My wife and I will definitely be staying at this apartment on our next trip to Paris.

The Rue de Rosiers apartment was an absolute delight to stay and the location was wonderfully central. The kitchen had everything we needed with beautiful crockery - the French instructions on the microwave were a little mysterious but we worked it out and the washing machine worked just fine. The little loft was great for our daughter to sleep in. It was warm and cosy with a stylish blending of the old and modern. We particularly loved the apartment because it was so centrally located in an historic part of Paris. Our street was charmingly narrow and paved with cobbles. We could easily walk to lots of iconic Parisian sights such as Notre Dame, the Pompidou Centre and the Louvre. There were lots of shops, cafes and boulangeries on our doorstep. The French Experience were really helpful when our original apartment had a leak and helped us find another apartment despite us being in the UK at that time. I would recommend them and the apartment.

The location of  Rue Chavaux Lagarde is fantastic. Metro and liquor shop close, easy walking distance to many attractions and shops. The agent was not familiar with the apartment and at first we seemed to be missing a room! He was not aware that a second bedroom was accessible behind a little door! He also did not advise us of how to turn on the power. We did eventually find switches in top of cupboard. Also cleaners had not been advised that we could leave luggage in apartment until late afternoon as we had a late flight. Caused some confusion. BUT, we loved it.

I had the best time in Paris.  Art. Pastries. Walking. So pastries did not attach to my hips. The apartment was WONDERFUL. One Rue Pont Louis Philippe is the best location. Walk to everywhere. Still spent time on the Ille St Louis. And lots and lots of time in the Marais. Four big windows – unbelievable views of Notre Dame and St. Gervais church and the Ille St Louis/Seine. It was quite spacious, good light and all the mod-cons. The only thing was : the shower. It was teensy weensy itty bitty with lousy pressure. However. Nothing is perfect and the shower did not detract from my joy of returning home to “my” apartment. You can easily with no reservations suggest this apartment to any one who asks you. We had 4 adults and that is about all it would hold comfortably (adding people in the fold out couch would make it very cosy!). We booked transfers with French Experience from airport and later to the railway station, and they were very helpful and the cars were comfortable.
