Casa di Limonaia is a stunning waterfront villa that accommodates up to 10 guests. It’s a spectacular home away from home, with traditional Italian interiors, exposed beams and tonnes of character with touches of elegance. Almost every room has a lake vista, so you are never far from the beauty that brought you to this region.
There are five bedrooms, a mix of doubles, singles, twins and bunks and it’s a great place to travel as a large group because there is a room set up for everyone. There are also four bathrooms, three with showers and one with a bath – ideal for a night of relaxation with a local wine (or to bath the children).
The living space is open plan and decorated with original and historical art pieces, giving a lovely homely feel. There’s enough space to seat the whole family, so movie nights can be done in style on the flat screen television. There’s also a library, which is ideal for a spot of relaxing inside – and there’s a stunning sight of the water, of course.
There’s a cosy kitchen, perfect for creating homemade feasts to enjoy on the water’s edge or on one of the patios. There’s everything you could need and want, including a Nespresso machine.
The outside area is a true gem, with two gardens that are the only place you will want to be. One surrounds the villa and offers a ping pong table, football nets, an outdoor eating area and a barbecue. It also has stunning views down onto the lake, with lounge chairs at the ready. The lower garden is along the water’s edge, it has a traditional limonaia garden as well as sun loungers lining the lake, so you can top up your tan and cool off in style.
This lakefront villa is located near a beautiful town that’s a bit like a fairytale getaway with winding alleys and charming views of the lake and surrounding mountains, reached within a 5-minute drive or leisurely half hour walk by the lake. It’s a short drive to other popular spots, such as Gardone Riviera (15km) and Toscolano Maderno (10km). /n Security deposit /n Damage waiver of €7 per day (€49 per week) to cover for accidental damage or negligence paid on arrival. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival.
