Chevaliers reflects its storied past. The expansive suites are named after Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Prince Rupert, two of the home’s many illustrious visitors. Nephew to Charles I, Prince Rupert slept in the enormous second story bedroom while he commanded royalist troops during the Civil War. A set of linen tapestries in the gatehouse honours him.
While the two bedrooms will make you feel like royalty, the updated bathroom fittings, fully equipped modern kitchen and digital TV will keep you in contemporary comfort. The house sleeps four comfortably, and extra cots are available.
Chevaliers Gatehouse makes the ideal family holiday rental being near the M5, M6, M40 and M54 motorways, as well as 15 miles from the Telford Central train station, and 40 miles from Birmingham International Airport. /n Security deposit /n £100 this is to be paid directly to the owner in cash on arrival. /n Arrival time /n 4 pm onwards. /n Departure time /n 10 am. /n Energy costs included? /n Included in the rental price. /n Linen & towels included? /n All linen and bath towels are included in the rental price. /n Pets welcome? /n A maximum of 2 well-behaved dogs are allowed on a request basis. A deposit of £250 is needed which will be returned at the end of their stay provided the dogs are infact well behaved. Guests are required to clean up after their dogs and keep them on leads when on public footpaths. /n End of stay cleaning included? /n Included. Please leave the property how you found it. /n Smoking Allowed? /n No smoking in the property. /n Insurance /n It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property. /n Security deposit /n £750 for 3 days, £1250 for 7 or more days.
